Provincial Act creates CPA Quebec – Board of Directors announced

Bill 61, the Chartered Professional Accountants Act of Quebec, has received assent creating the Ordre des CPA du Québec (CPA Quebec). With the Act coming into force, CPA Quebec has announced its Board of Directors. Under the Act, the province’s CA, CMA and CGA Orders have united bringing together 35,000 professional accountants who are the first to use the Canadian CPA designation. The Canadian landscape has been noticeably altered with one out of five professional accountants now a CPA.
