Rosemary McGuire

As Vice-President of Member Experience, Rosemary leads CPA Canada’s research and thought leadership strategy and is responsible for the development and delivery of educational products and resources for members across a broad range of areas including economics, sustainability, emerging technologies, financial reporting and audit and assurance. She also oversees CPA Canada’s financial literacy program, and sustainability and capital markets policy and advocacy activities. Previously, Rosemary held the role of Vice-President, Research, Guidance and Support.
Throughout her career, Rosemary has garnered extensive public accounting experience. Prior to joining CPA Canada, she spent 14 years at PwC including seven years in the National Accounting Consulting Services group, advising clients on regulatory matters and complex accounting and financial reporting matters under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Rosemary currently serves as a board member of the Canadian Academic Accounting Association and International Federation of Accountants Public Policy and Regulatory Advisory Group. She is also a member of the IFRS Integrated Reporting and Connectivity Council, Institute for Sustainable Finance Research Advisory Council and Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) Expert Panel.
