Patrick Jordan
As Vice-President, Communications and Public Affairs, Pat leads CPA Canada’s Integrated Communications, which collectively manages the organization’s brand and reputation, government and stakeholder relations activities and language services. In this role, Pat provides the vision for and oversight of all multi-channel communications and marketing strategies that help promote the value of the profession.
With more than 25 years of experience in reputation management, public affairs, finance and people leadership, Pat has a strong track record of delivering lasting and impactful results across the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining CPA Canada, Pat oversaw public affairs at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), where he provided strategic external and internal communications counsel to the organization’s executive team. He also led the communications and issues management planning for one of the most significant change projects undertaken by the WSIB, and developed a proactive media strategy that reshaped the organization’s approach to media relations.
Previously, Pat managed national and global communications for a range of corporate clients in Canada and internationally during his time as associate vice-president, Financial and Investor Communications, at FleishmanHillard.
