Daniella Dimitrov

Ms. Dimitrov has over 20 years of experience in building, operating and streamlining businesses in mining and financial services. She is currently Partner, Sprott Capital Partners, a mining investment banking and advisory firm.  Previously, she served as CEO and, prior to this, as CFO of Orvana Minerals (a multi-mine gold/copper miner) and as Executive Vice Chair of Baffinland Iron through its acquisition for $600 million following a hostile take-over bid. She has also served as COO and SVP Strategic Initiatives with two independent financial services firms.

 

Ms. Dimitrov is currently a director and chair or a member of the audit committees of Nexa Resources, International Petroleum and Excellon Resources, has served as a director of a number of other mining companies and has chaired or been a member of various committees of such boards.

 

Ms. Dimitrov has an Executive MBA from Kellogg and Schulich business schools and a law degree. Ms. Dimitrov was chosen as one of the top 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining for 2016 and is a Canada Board Diversity Council – 2016 Diversity 50 Candidate.
