Justin Mastrangelo

Justin is a tax partner in BDO’s Domestic and Transaction Tax Practice. Justin has over 15 years of professional experience in public practice. He has extensive experience in corporate reorganizations and strategic tax planning pertaining to mergers and acquisitions, estate and succession planning, as well as remuneration planning for business entrepreneurs. Justin helps clients strategize their business opportunities and assists them in minimizing their tax exposure by implementing flexible corporate structures.

Justin has advised a wide variety of clients including private corporations, individuals, partnerships and trusts. He serves several family owned, entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses in industries like real estate and construction, hotel and hospitality, automotive, professional services and manufacturing, acting as their trusted business advisor.

Justin has spent five years as an In-Depth Tax Facilitator with the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, and a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, including presenting and writing a paper for their 2019 Annual Canadian Tax Conference. He is also a past member of the Burlington Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Network Committee.
